Kids Ballroom Program
What makes this program different from a group kids dance class?
Group classes entertain; this program trains. Each child works one-on-one with the instructor, building posture, musicality, discipline and confidence at their own pace — the same structure used to prepare young competitive dancers.
What do children learn?
- Ballroom foundations — waltz, cha-cha, and rhythm fundamentals adapted to age.
- Performance skills — presence, focus and stage confidence.
- Discipline that transfers — coordination, memory and goal-setting habits that show up at school and in sport.
How do we start?

Kids Ballroom Program: common questions
At what age can children start ballroom dance lessons?
Most children are ready for structured private lessons around age 6–7, when they can follow multi-step instructions and hold focus for a full session. An introductory lesson is the best way to evaluate readiness.
Does my child need previous dance experience?
No. The program builds from fundamentals. Children who already dance progress into competition-level technique; beginners start with rhythm, posture and partnering basics.
Are there performance or competition opportunities?
Yes. The program is designed for children seeking bigger challenges, including showcases and competitive events, prepared progressively and without pressure.
